What I Am Working On Now

Serving as a Trustee for Firestone means staying focused on the issues that matter most to residents today

while preparing our community for the future.

Planning for Responsible Growth
Firestone continues to grow, and careful planning is essential to ensure our infrastructure, services, and neighborhoods keep pace. Ray works with town leadership and regional partners to ensure growth is managed responsibly while protecting the character of the community.

Strengthening Transportation and Regional Connectivity
Traffic and mobility remain major concerns for many residents. Through regional planning partnerships, Ray supports improvements along the Interstate 25 and Highway 119 corridor and advocates for long term infrastructure solutions that keep Firestone connected to the broader Front Range.

Supporting Economic Development
Ray supports efforts that encourage responsible commercial development, attract new businesses, and create opportunities for local job growth while providing residents with more services close to home.

Investing in Community Spaces
Parks and community gathering spaces strengthen Firestone’s identity. Ray supports continued development of community spaces, including Central Park, that provide recreation, events, and opportunities for residents to come together.

Maintaining Transparency and Responsible Governance
Strong communities depend on trust in local government. Ray remains committed to transparency, open communication, and thoughtful decision making that prioritizes the long term interests of Firestone.

Why I Serve

Public service is about giving back to the community we call home. Ray and his family chose Firestone because of its strong sense of community and the people who make the town such a special place to live.

Throughout his career Ray has led teams, managed complex organizations, and solved challenging problems. Serving as a Trustee allows him to bring that experience to the community and help ensure Firestone continues to grow responsibly while preserving the values that make it unique.

Ray believes local government works best when leaders listen to residents, communicate openly, and focus on practical solutions that strengthen the community for the next generation.

Firestone’s future depends on responsible growth, strong infrastructure, and a commitment to maintaining the community values that residents cherish. Investments in transportation, parks, public safety, and economic development will help ensure the town remains a vibrant place for families and businesses.

By working together and focusing on long term solutions, Firestone can continue to grow while preserving the character that makes it such a special community.

Setting the Record Straight

Every decision made by the Board of Trustees follows Colorado open meetings laws and public process requirements. Residents have the ability to attend meetings, review public information, and participate in discussions that shape the future of Firestone.

Ray remains focused on responsible decision making, listening to residents, and supporting policies that strengthen the long term future of the community.
